Origin
Peru is one of the leading producers of organic coffee. Coffee grows there on the slopes of the Andes, often on small farms grouped into cooperatives.
On the palate
The cup opens with chocolate, then gives way to fruity notes and a light acidity. The body is balanced. With a caffeine content of 1.17%, it is one of the lowest-caffeine coffees in our range.
How to brew it
It suits every brewing method. In a moka pot, it makes a round, chocolatey coffee, perfect in the morning.
Moka pot method: fill the base with water up to the valve, add the ground coffee to the filter basket without tamping, then heat over medium heat. Take the pot off the heat as soon as the coffee starts to gurgle, to avoid bitterness.
Order whole beans for a bean-to-cup coffee machine (De’Longhi, Krups, Philips…) or a grinder, or choose the grind that suits your brewer: espresso machine, moka pot, filter or French press.
