Origin
Brazil is the world’s largest coffee producer. The name Santos comes from the port through which these coffees are exported. Brazilian Arabicas are known for their smoothness and low acidity.
On the palate
The cup is smooth and light (intensity 3 out of 10), with no pronounced bitterness or acidity. Fruity, lightly woody notes appear on the finish.
How to brew it
Perfect for coffee with milk and the moka pot. As espresso, it gives a smooth, creamy cup.
Moka pot method: fill the base with water up to the valve, add the ground coffee to the filter basket without tamping, then heat over medium heat. Take the pot off the heat as soon as the coffee starts to gurgle, to avoid bitterness.
Order whole beans for a bean-to-cup coffee machine (De’Longhi, Krups, Philips…) or a grinder, or choose the grind that suits your brewer: espresso machine, moka pot, filter or French press.
